PPC Advertising

Paid advertising is the fastest way to get in front of people who are ready to buy. It is also the fastest way to spend money on people who are not.

The difference is almost entirely in the setup: who you target, what they land on, and whether you are measuring the right thing. Get those wrong and a campaign will spend your budget efficiently on nothing at all.

What we manage

Google Search Ads

The highest-intent advertising available. Someone typing "emergency plumber Croydon" is not browsing. We build campaigns around the searches that indicate intent to buy, not the ones that merely mention your industry.

Google Shopping

For e-commerce, with the product feed set up properly. Most Shopping campaigns underperform because of feed problems rather than bidding problems.

Meta Ads

Facebook and Instagram, where people are not searching for you but can be reached by interest, behavior and lookalike audiences. Different job from search, and it needs different creative and different expectations.

LinkedIn Ads

For B2B, where the targeting is unmatched and the cost per click is uncomfortable. Worth it when a customer is worth thousands; rarely worth it otherwise, and we will say so.

Retargeting

Reaching people who visited and left. Usually the cheapest conversions in an account, and usually the last thing anyone sets up.

What we actually do

Negative keywords, aggressively

This is where most accounts leak money. Without a proper negative keyword list, an account selling accountancy services pays for clicks from people searching for accountancy courses, accountancy jobs, and free accountancy software. We audit search terms weekly and cut what does not belong.

Conversion tracking before spending

If you cannot see which clicks turn into enquiries, you cannot optimize anything. Tracking gets set up and verified before the first pound is spent — including phone calls and form submissions, not just page visits.

Landing pages that match the ad

Sending paid traffic to a homepage wastes most of it. The page should say what the ad promised and ask for one thing.

Bid and budget management

Adjusting by device, location, time of day and audience, based on what is actually converting rather than what Google's recommendations suggest. Google's automated suggestions are designed to increase spend, and they are not always wrong, but they are not neutral either.

Ad copy and creative testing

Multiple variations running, poor performers cut, winners scaled. Continuously, not once at launch.

How we work

We audit before quoting

If you have an existing account, we look at it first. Sometimes the problem is a single misconfigured setting and does not need ongoing management at all.

Small budget first

We start with a modest test budget across a few campaigns, find what converts, then scale. Launching everything at full spend on day one is how accounts burn through a month's budget in a fortnight.

Your account stays yours

Ads accounts are set up in your name, with you as owner and us granted access. If we part ways, you keep the account, the history and the data. That history has real value and you should not lose it because you changed agency.

Ad spend goes to the platform

You pay the platform directly. We charge a management fee. Nothing about our fee changes if you spend more, so there is no incentive to inflate your budget.

Reporting

Monthly, in plain English:

  • What each campaign spent
  • How many enquiries or sales it produced
  • Cost per conversion
  • What we changed and why
  • What we are testing next

No forty-page automated PDF. If a campaign is not working, the report will say so.

What you get

  • Account audit or fresh setup
  • Keyword and audience research
  • Campaign build with proper structure
  • Conversion tracking implementation and testing
  • Ad copy and creative
  • Ongoing optimization and negative keyword management
  • Monthly reporting with clear recommendations

Pricing

Monthly management fee based on account size and complexity, agreed before we start. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to the platform.

We are honest about minimums. Below a certain budget there is not enough data to optimize against, and you would be better spending on SEO or content instead. We will tell you if that applies to you.

Why Marktechsol

We spend our own money on traffic for our own content and affiliate sites. That makes us fairly unsentimental about campaigns that are not working — we cut them, because it is our money.

We also handle the tracking and landing page side ourselves rather than blaming the website when conversions do not arrive, which is a common way for agencies to avoid accountability.
