Affiliate Marketing Management
This is the one service where we are not just consultants. We run affiliate sites ourselves, every day, with our own money at stake.
We are approved publishers with Impact, Partnerize, Amazon Associates, ShareASale, Skimlinks, Webgains, TradeTracker and Pepperjam. That means when we talk about what converts, what networks actually pay, and which programmers quietly cut commissions after six months, it comes from running the sites rather than reading about them.
Who we work with
Brands who want an affiliate program
If you sell online and are not running an affiliate program, you are leaving a performance channel unused — one where you only pay when a sale happens. We set it up, recruit publishers, and manage it properly.
Publishers and content sites
If you have traffic and are not monetizing it well, we help you fix that. Network applications, content structure, link management, and the technical work that stops commissions leaking.
Businesses starting from scratch
Sometimes the right answer is to build an affiliate site rather than bolt affiliate links onto an existing one. We have built coupon platforms, deal sites and review sites from the ground up.
What we do
Network setup and management
Choosing the right networks for your sector, getting through the application process, and configuring tracking properly. Most programmers fail at the tracking stage — commissions get attributed to the wrong source, or not at all, and nobody notices for months.
Publisher recruitment
Finding and approaching publishers who actually reach your customers, rather than accepting every application and hoping. Quality over volume — twenty relevant publishers outperform two hundred irrelevant ones.
Commission structures that work
Setting rates that are attractive enough to get publishers interested and sustainable enough that you still make money. Tiered structures, new-customer bonuses, and category-specific rates where they make sense.
Content and site build
Comparison pages, review content, coupon and deal pages, and the site architecture to support them at scale. We build these in WordPress or custom PHP depending on how many pages you need to handle.
Compliance
UK affiliate content has rules. Disclosure requirements under CAP Code and ASA guidance, cookie consent, and accurate pricing claims. Getting this wrong costs you programmer access and, increasingly, search visibility.
Tracking and reporting
Proper attribution setup, conversion tracking, and monthly reporting that shows what each publisher and each page is actually earning — not just aggregate revenue.
How we work
We look at the numbers first
Traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and existing revenue. Affiliate marketing works well for some businesses and poorly for others. We would rather tell you that at the start than take a retainer for a channel that will not deliver.
We build slowly and test
New programmers get a small set of publishers and a limited product range first. Once we know what converts, we scale that rather than launching everything at once.
You keep control of the relationships
Network accounts are set up in your name. If you stop working with us, you keep the programmer, the publishers, and the data. Nothing is held hostage.
What you get
- Network selection and application support
- Programme setup, terms and commission structure
- Publisher recruitment and ongoing relationship management
- Tracking implementation and testing
- Content or site build, where that is part of the plan
- Compliance review against UK advertising rules
- Monthly reporting by publisher, page and product
Pricing
For brands, we work on a monthly retainer, sometimes with a performance element tied to programmer revenue.
For publishers and site builds, we quote per project. Where we are building a site from scratch, we can discuss revenue share arrangements as an alternative to a fixed fee — which tends to concentrate the mind on both sides.
Why Marktechsol
Most agencies offering affiliate management have never had a payment held, never had a programmer terminate on them, and never had to rebuild a site after a commission structure changed overnight.
We have. We currently run a portfolio of affiliate and content sites across coupons, travel and reviews, which means we understand this channel from the publisher side as well as the brand side. That perspective is unusual and it is genuinely useful when you are trying to work out why publishers are not promoting you.
